MEMA
Im MEMA, Merry Ellen Marshall Ackema. All things earth seem to be my first nature, gardening, pottery and cooking are my favorite passions, and MEMA EARTH is the channel in which I share myself and my offerings with the greater community. I have a long and very deep history working with plants as a farmer and a global fruit hunter and my fascination with the natural world penetrates the unseen realms as well, braiding the material and spiritual worlds into one. The language of the garden speaks to me in my dreams, and it is one of my highest joys to help others foster their connection with earth. When spirit moves me, Ill get my hands dirty in my ceramics studio as well, after 15 years of working with clay, my favorite things to make are the things we use the most. Pottery to me is another bridge back to mother earth, the source of all, when we bring a ceramic mug to our lips to sip its contents we reconnect, we remember that all comes from the earth, that we are earth, and one day we will return to earth.
